"For all Band Kind" Hitting The Market On March 31st 2012!
In August of 2010 we used all the money we had saved from shows through out the year (and some that was donated from some very generous fans) and we traveled to Valdosta, Georgia to record our 7 track EP entitled "For all band kind". We had the pleasure of working with an amazing engineer that really knew the sound that we were going for and the mood that we were trying to capture. Lee Dyess from Earthsound Recording is the man to say the least. The finished product is better than any of us imagined it would be. For the first time since forming this band, we can put in our CD and have it sound like something you might hear on the radio. The songs have the same energy and speed that you would hear at a live show. And finally, 6 months after the completion of recording...we had the funds to send them off to pressing.
Needless to say, we are very proud of this CD. Since reforming the band in 2010 "For all band kind" is a product strictly of the 4 members that are currently in the band. What you will hear is the new us, and the things we have been working on are already surpassing what we've done on this CD. If you're a friend of ours, or a lover of good fast music with catchy melodies, we encourage you to help us spread our name to anyone you think may be interested.
Our CD release party is going to be held at The Crowbar in Ybor City on Saturday March 31st. We will be playing with A Dying Regime (from Orlando), The Music Box, Relief in Sleep and Valmara. It's an all ages show, only $7 to get in and the doors open at 7:00pm. Please come out and support and pick up a physical copy of the CD from us! It will also be available for download on iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and Spotify. Thank you for all your support, we love you!

Recording Update:
Yesterday we returned from our second trip up to Valdosta, Georgia. We've been working on our upcoming CD "For All Band Kind". It's going to feature 5 songs that are being recorded for the first time, one of which we have never played live. Pictured you will see that man himself, Mr. Lee Dyess from Earthsound Recording working hard making sure all of you are blown away by this CD!
We couldn't be more pleased with how things are sounding right now. Levels haven't even been touched and there is still A LOT of mixing that still has to get done and it already sounds 10 times better than anything we've released so far. This is a fresh start for us. This is the first CD we are putting out with the current line up. These are all songs that worked on together from the beginning. What you will hear when you play this album is just the beginning of what you can expect from us in the future, and I hope you're as excited as we are!
We don't have a release date just yet. The tracking is done and mixing and mastering can now begin. Next, we need to get the album artwork done. Once mixing and mastering, album photo's and layout are completed we can then send it out for printing and packaging. We're shooting to have it on shelves, on iTunes and in your ears before the end of the year. For now, visit the photos section of our page for some recording photo's!

We're Heading To Valdosta Georgia!
We're super excited to announce that on Friday August 19th we will begin recording our second EP "For All Band Kind". We will be recording in Valdosta Georgia at Earth Sound Studios with the great Lee Dyess! You can hear some of his work by clicking HERE. He come highly recommended to us by both Hopesick and our good friends Select Start who recorded their most recent CD "The New Atlantic" there.
We haven't announced which songs we will be putting on the CD yet, but we can tell you that it's going to be night and day from our previous CD "Steam EP". These are all songs that the current line up have been a part of from beginning to end. We are all completely comfortable with all of the songs heading into the studio and we will be working with and extremely experienced and talented sound engineer/producer. We don't have a goal release day set yet as well, but we promise you it won't take as long as the last one :). We are on a mission: to give you all a CD that will rock your face off as soon as possible!
As a band (that doesn't play too often) we have been able to save money from shows that we have earned over the past year or so. Unfortunately, we are still quite a bit short on funds. We could really use your help in raising the rest of the funds! You can help coming out to shows (we have one August 13th at Transitions Art Gallery) and you can help by giving money or promoting our fundraising site on Facebook, Twitter etc. Below you will find a link to our fundraising site. They have made it easy to share with others as well. It gives you the option of predetermined donations, or you can select "other" to donate anywhere from $1 to $1,000,000,000.00! Anything you can do to help is GREATLY appreciated! Just follow the link below to help out :)

We've conquered the new Orpheum
Thank you to all who attended our show at the new Orpheum and helped us out by pre buying tickets to the show. You're support is great appreciated! Playing at the new venue for the first time was quite and experience we were glad to have shared with all of you. The air was cold, the stage is huge and the sound is phenomenal! It really made us feel like we were something more than a band that plays around town once a month. Party Time and Peelander Z helped bring a lot of people through the doors but that place can hold many, many more people. We would love to, as a band grow into the new Orpheum. That's something that we can't do all on our own, we need your help! It's word of mouth that will really take a band to the next level. If each of you tell a person or two about us and help spread the word, it can spread like wild fire!
We are hoping that August will be a big month for us. We're hoping to squeeze a couple of Tampa dates in and if the stars all align....get up to EarthSound studios in Georgia to record our next 5 song EP. We have progressed an insane amount since the release of "Steam EP" and we can't wait to show all of you what the new line up has to offer! We challenge all of you to spread the word about us. Tag us in a post on Facebook, follow us on Twitter @NSrock and blast a few tweets requesting other people to follow us. It's how it all starts people! We love you and we hope to rock your faces off time and time and time again at even bigger shows than the ones that we've already played! You can help :D
Show updates will be coming very soon so stay tuned! Don't forget to drop us a line in "The Lair". You don't have to create an account, you can sign in right with your Facebook login! Till next time...

What's up Sarasota?! It feels like forever since we've been inside of you. It's been since December 17th to be exact. Way too long! We hope that all of you who came to check us out will be back with your friends to rock out and have some beers with us. We have a new song on the set list since we played down there last. It's different from a lot of the stuff that we play. It's called "
Next show: Friday January 28th at The Crowbar
Hey Tampa! It's been since our CD release show in November since we have seen you. And we would love to see all of your beautiful faces at The Crowbar on January 28th! There is a chance that we might be unveiling our music video we shot a few months ago for "Derby Darlins". There will be more updates on the progress of the video as we get them. Other than that, it should be a pretty crazy night. It's the night before the biggest drinking holiday in the Tampa Bay Area, GASPARILLA! So come on out and get your pre party going on with us! We're got a solid support line up that includes our dear friends To Sleep To Dream from Orlando, our new friends Empire Cinema and Skyline Summer.
Come out, have some drinks, bang your head and say what's up! See you there :D

It Didn't Take Long Sarasota
Our buddy Jack from S.O.L. productions gave us a ring asking us to play this Saturday December 18th at Pastimes Pub. After what Sarasota showed us this past Friday we couldn't turn it down. We're really looking forward to playing a show down there again so soon and hanging out in Gulf Gate. If you saw this last friday and really dug the show please come support and bring a friend that you think would dig the show as well. We're all about making this a party!
We will be playing along side "Spankin' Fresh" and "Negative Tread". Doors open at 9:00pm and the cost is only $5. That's the cheapest show that we have played in a really really long time, so take advantage :D. Hit us up on the forum here, or comment on Facebook with any questions.

Sarasota Rocks!
We'd like to start off by saying that Sarasota knows how to freakin party! We had a blast down there at Pastimes Pub. The In Crowd killed it and Whole Wheat Bread was the icing on the cake. Word on the streets is that they want to have us back sometime in March. Be sure and check back to our shows page to see what we have coming up next.
We also took some behind the scenes video of the trip down to Sarasota. You find that as well as a couple of songs from our set on our YouTube page! We will be shooting video's more frequently so you will want to subscribe to our channel so that you can stay in the loop :D. That's your update for now, enjoy the videos and be sure and check out "The Lair" to leave us some love and feedback!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!
It's been a little while since the last update. Some of us have been on vacation and out of town. That's doesn't mean that we aren't preparing for new things though! We have an awesome show lined up for December 10th in Sarasota at Pastimes Pub. We are playing along side Whole Wheat Bread and The In Crowd. The show is $10 and I promise you it will be worth it. I'm told that the part of Sarasota the show is in is a pretty awesome place as well!
We have also been laying out the music for our next EP "For all band kind". I know we just released an EP, but the new music is coming fast and we want to keep the fresh tunes rolling in for you guys! The songs are all written, we just have to save up for the recording. Hopefully this next one doesn't take as long to put out as the last one did. Which I hope all of you are enjoying by the way :).
As always, keep checking in for news and updates. We hope to keep the new things coming! We love you!

Last nights show went off without a hitch and it ranks up there as one of our best shows we have ever played! We got to play along side some really awesome bands who were also awesome people.
From Story to Glory stuck it through acoustically after having their drummer back out on them earlier in the day and did a hell of a job. To Sleep, To Dream made the drive down from Orlando to play the show and tore it up. Super nice kids we hope to see a lot more of. A View From The East Coast played a short and sweet set. Third time we've got to play with them and they are great every time. Our good buddies Red Letter Day rocked it out with the best set I have seen them perform to date! Unfortunately it was their drummers last show with them, so send drummer inquiries to them!
Then there was the CD. We haven't taken inventory yet, but we sold A LOT more than we were anticipating to sell! So thanks again to all of you who purchased a copy, all proceeds are going towards the next CD "For All Band Kind" that we already have written and can not wait to start on! We are not sure the next time we will be playing Tampa, but we will be in Sarasota on December 10th at Pastimes Pub performing with Whole Wheat Bread and The In Crowd. Keep rockin!

Final Day of Video Shoot!

Shot in our practice space
Tonight we wrapped up the final shoot for our music video "Derby Darlins". We are VERY excited about all of the clips that we have seen so far. We'd like to thank Spark for doing such an awesome job. They are very busy with other projects right now, so we expect it to be another couple months before the finished product is in our hands.
For those of you who don't know. This song is about the Tampa Tantrums, a local Roller Derby team that competes nationally and does very well. Many of the girls were in the first part of the video that was filmed on September 11th at a warehouse owned by Brisk Coffee Company. Stay tuned for more information as the video progresses.
